Dear Club Member,
You have already registered for free use of the Mercedes-Benz Parts Information system and have received your personal access data (user ID and initial password).
You can access this information at any time via your personalized access in the Mercedes-Benz Club Lounge (
https://clublounge.mb-lounge.com).
Your personal access to the Parts Information system has been reconfigured and, if it was due to expire soon, extended. This means that Mercedes-Benz Parts Information is still available to you as before.
Since Parts Information is primarily an internal system designed for professional, commercial users, its operation is becoming increasingly complex. Exclusive access free-of-charge for private users is an exception that we were able to implement after the old system (EPC) was discontinued.
The need for technical and content support for Club users has, as a result, become so extensive and diverse that the capacity available to handle it is no longer sufficient.
In addition, the workload required for setting up users and user administration (e.g. password resetting) increases with the number of users and leads to extremely long waiting times for you as a user.
As a result, we would ask you to note the following information:
• Please only use the following link to access the Parts Information system:
https://aftersales.daimler.com • If you have forgotten the password you generated for yourself after your initial registration, please only use the "Forgotten password" function on the login page.
Note: When you log in for the first time, you will be asked to set up a security question. Please make a note of the question and the specific answer.
Otherwise, a system-side password reset will not be possible.
• If you have not logged into the Parts Information system for a period of 150 days, you will receive a system-generated message notifying you that your access will soon be blocked.
This is not technical chicanery, but is a necessity to comply with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
It is possible to prevent access being blocked by simply logging into Mercedes-Benz Parts Information within a period of 30 days.
Important! If you do not log into the system despite this notification and the block is actually applied, we will not be able to unblock access manually in the future.
• As already described, Parts Information is designed for the professional, commercial user. As a result, there is no support hotline or similar system.
We trust you will understand that we are therefore unable to provide any assistance with the technical and content-related operation of the Mercedes-Benz Parts Information system.
Otherwise, we would unfortunately have to discontinue the service altogether.
Finally, we would like to emphasise in response to a number of enquiries that the free provision of Parts Information is a voluntary service on the part of Mercedes-Benz Classic and is not part of your Club membership fee.
What alternatives to Parts Information are available?
As in the past, the Mercedes-Benz company-owned sales and service outlets and contracting parties are available as primary and competent contacts. Furthermore, the Mercedes-Benz ClassicPartner network consolidates many experts for different vehicle models, services and vehicle trade. Each Mercedes-Benz ClassicPartner is not only a classic specialist, but also, and most importantly, a Mercedes specialist. In a network currently consisting of 46 Mercedes-Benz ClassicPartner establishments across Germany, practically everyone can find their specialist for their respective model series and desired service. This network is still being developed and is being continuously expanded at an international level.
All further information on the Mercedes-Benz ClassicPartners can be found here:
Mercedes-Benz Service: ClassicPartner
Mercedes-Benz Classic also offers a parts search at:
Mercedes-Benz Classic Replacement Parts Search (mercedes-benz-classic.com)
which offers many opportunities to find parts and check their availability.
We would like to thank you for your cooperation and wish you all the best.
Kind regards,
Mercedes-Benz Classic Club Management
